This was my very first project in our house! I wasn't 100% sure of what I wanted for my gallery but I knew that I didn't want all black frames, I wanted to have a few canvas pictures and to use different frame sizes and colors that went with the design in my living room. I actually didn't find anything that I liked on Pinterest I'm sure I could now but I did find my inspiration here for the color of the frames on houzz.com, another website that I could waste hours on.
The cream frames, the LOVE art, the H and the wooden frames that were painted the same blue as our accent wall were purchased at Hobby Lobby, the green and brown frames I bought from Gordman's and the canvas pictures were ordered from Inkelys. I spent about $150 on the prints and frames but didn't learn until later that you can do DIY canvas pictures for much cheaper here is the tutorial. I layed out and spaced the frames the way I wanted and then traced them on to craft paper and then my cute hubby hung the craft paper up and set the nails where needed. Pinterest has a lot of ideas on how to easily hang a wall gallery like here or here.
