Pinterest... that devil... is my obsession lately, just ask my husband. I'm constantly showing him my new pins and talking to him about ideas I have for the house. If someone forced me to chose between FB or Pinterest, I'd chose Pinterest. I'm not that creative or crafty, I'm on a tight budget for new decor and furniture in our home and so Pinterest has seriously opened my eyes to DIY and gives me tutorials on exactly how to do it.
I wanted to start a blog as a way to document my Pinterest
projects that I’ve been working on. Just a little background...Caleb and I started our marriage 3 years ago in a one bedroom apartment
with literally a bed, a dresser, a small two cushion couch, and a T.V. No
curtains, no cute decorations, no furniture!
At the time we were struggling to pay for college for the both of
us. Now we've just bought a beautiful home last
April, and now have an adorable, chubby little 6 month old boy and because the
budget is still tight, there hasn’t been a lot of change in the home decor department. We did get rid of our homely little couch,
bought 2 couches and a man chair, bought table and chairs for the kitchen,
entertainment center for the living room & furnished the nursery! Now that I have the handy man hubby, the house and Pinterest I'm ready to transform my home!
